撰寫 Smash Up 專欄之後，越來越多朋友問籽哪些 Smash Up 的擴充值得收藏。這種情況之下，筆者通常建議他們 All in。「要麼不買，要買全買」是咭牌遊戲的金科玉律。可是擴充各有特色，就讓我們試試分析那些擴充應該立即購入，那些又可以待折扣時才買吧！

Awesome Level 9000 是 Smash Up 推出的首個擴充。跟據 2017 年 7 月的 Tier List (https://boardgamegeek.com/article/26278988#26278988)，當中兩個種族實力達到 Upper Tier 水平，即使與新推出的種族比拼也絕不輸蝕。

Awesome Level 9000 種族簡介
Bear Cavalry：把敵人的 minion 推落懸崖，又或者擁入懷中，從而擊殺。
Ghosts：透過 play an extra minion/action 或者丟棄手牌，減少手牌數量以提升 minion 的能力！
Killer Plants：尋找 minion 的故事。
Steampunks：擁有大量強化或保護己方 Minion 的 “Play on a base” Action，亦可從墓地中取回 Action 再次使用。
(與 base set 的種族很不同呢，值得立即購入吧~)

在這四個種族之中，Ghosts 的效果最有趣但最難使用。在 Tricksters 一文中剖析過 card advantage 的重要性，咭牌越多代表擁有更靈活的作戰策略。可是 Ghosts 這種背水一戰的計劃，未知能否補償手牌不足的缺失。Bear Cavalry 平均力量值高，效果鮮明又貼合主題，屬於強悍控場的類別。Steampunks 擁有數張加強 power 的 “Play on a base” Action，配合 Mechanic 爆發力十足，(4+5) x 2 比兩張 King Rex 更強！在這個擴充內，先詳細分析籽比較喜歡的 Killer Plants。

種族分析：Killer Plants
食人花是首個能夠從 deck 內 search a minion 的種族，直至目前為止，也只有 Killer Plants、Shapeshifters、Star Roamers 和 Itty Critters 有類近的效果。”Draw a card” 給你的是概率，但 “search your deck for a minion…” 讓你找出對戰局最有利的 minion 使用，相信大家明白其可怕之處。

Minion
Venus Man Trap (5) x 1 - Talent: Search your deck for a minion of power 2 or less and play it here as an extra minion. Shuffle your deck.
Weed Eater (5) x 2 - This minion has -2 power on the turn you play it.
Water Lily (3) x 3 - Ongoing: Draw a card at the start of each of your turns. Only use one Water Lily's ability each turn.
Sprout (2) x 4 - Ongoing: Destroy this card at the start of your turn. You may search your deck for a minion of power 3 or less, and play it here as an extra minion. Shuffle your deck.

Action
Blossom x 1 - Play up to three extra minions that all have the same name.
Budding x 1 - Choose a minion in play. Search your deck for a copy of that card and place it into your hand. Shuffle your deck.
Choking Vines x 1 - Play on a minion. Ongoing: At the start of your turn, destroy this minion.
Deep Roots x 1 - Play on a base. Ongoing: Your minions here cannot be moved or returned to your hand by other players' abilities.
Entangled x 1 - Play on a base. Ongoing: Minions may not be moved or returned to hands from any base where you have a minion. Destroy this card at the start of your turn.
Insta-Grow x 2- Play an extra minion.
Overgrowth x 1- Play on a base. Ongoing: At the start of your turn, reduce the breakpoint of this base to 0.
Sleep Spores x 2 - Play on a base. Ongoing: Other players' minions have -1 power here (minimum power 0).

力量分布：5/5/5/3/3/3/2/2/2/2
總力量值：32

Water Lily 是 Killer Plants 的重心人物，讓你在回合開始時抽取一張咭牌，大大增加 card advantage。Killer Plants 亦有 Blossom 和 Insta-Grow 等 action 讓你打出更多 minion，配合 Water Lily 的抽牌能力簡直一流。即使未能抓到 Water Lily，Sprout 也能讓你從牌庫中選擇並打出力量值 3 或以下的 minion，變相令咭組內擁有 7 張 Water Lily。Venus Man Trap 令你每回合從牌庫內選擇並打出 1 張力量值 2 或以下的 minion 作為 extra minion，至少每回合讓你穩定地增加 2 點力量值。Weed Eater 基本上是兩張力量值 5 的 minion，配合 Overgrowth 讓你瞬間爆破 base。

可是這些也不是重點。Killer Plants 最強之處，是能夠快速找到 Aliens 的 Invader，拿取分數，兩者配合能使 Aliens 效能提升至最高峰。Sprout 變出 Invader，再用 Budding 從牌庫拿取另一張 Invader，Insta-Grow 打出 extra 的 Invader，Venus Man Trap 生出 Collector 把 Invader 拿回手上，再以 Blossom 一次過打出兩張 Invader… 就這樣無限輪迴，加分速度難以估計。

即使不與外星人為盟，食人花也是靈活百變的種族喔: )
